Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, where giving gifts to children is one important activity. Epetan Charity is back for a bigger gift giving activity this 2019, covering almost 140 kids of Busngol Elementary School in Brgy. Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa City.

Epetan is a cuyonon word meaning to care, it is the special group of Holy Trinity College- High School Batch 1996 that assemble once every year to gather funds, and distribute to different areas mostly for children. Epetan started in 2018 and the first beneficiaries are two orphanage house in the City.

Happened last Dec 27, the Charity event started with a holy mass followed by series of parlor games and some dance number featuring Jollibee, the mascot love by kids and kids at heart. A sumptuous lunch is served after those activity.

The pupils of Busngol take home some toys, candies, chocolates and some school supplies that prepared by the Epetan core group members headed by Carie Lagunday, Gilda Palayon, Aura Caso, your Palawanderer, Leilani Balmonte, Arlene Mondragon, and Sharry Mae Aurello. Not present during the event are Tenten Calamba and Joan Claire Saurin. John Aster Viray also join this year gift giving activity.

Epetan wouldn’t be successful without the help and support of some members of HTC-HS Batch 1996, rest assured 2020 will be another year for Epetan in continuing to serve and give smiles to different kids in Palawan, in their own little way.
