Puerto Princesa will soon experience a new kind of tourism, it’s the Fitness and Wellness resort located in a highland set up of Nagtabon circuit featuring beautiful upper side mountain feel ambiance equipped with contact sports facilities, and to-go to gym amenities, this is Fight Club Philippines all set for major opening this coming September.
According to Gany Santos, Co-Founder of FCP, they are now in the soft opening status where they welcome guest in their dining resto that can accommodate 30 guests either for breakfast, lunch or dinner in a day to day operation, the menu they offer is in line with gastronomic fitness goals, and one can have to continue their wellness journey.
Behind the name is the Hollywood movie of the same title, coin by its owners Donna Bias and her partner who got the inspiration from their trip in Thailand, wherein they fall in love in attending boxing lessons, and that experience led to this 2.1 hectares of fitness and wellness resort.
“We did research Palawan, Siargao, Baguio, and Palawan is the most beautiful place I saw, and when we flew here and check out the area, that’s when I fall in love, and ok I think this is it, this is where we gonna relocate and do business.” Bias said during an interview with Palawanderer.
The property is now in for rigid construction as the target opening is coming near, at present they have 10 rooms in total, 2 executive villas that can accommodate 5 to 6 persons, and a dorm style accommodation’s intended for backpackers, the starting rate for that is P1,500 per night.
As the construction progress, a swimming pool cascading like terraces is also in the works, a regular sports events with international names from sports world is set to grace their open air type gym that will offer different trainings and workshops.
According to Bias who hails originally from Pampanga, they want to assure Palaweños that they are 100% compliance to all environmental and business licenses requirement by the local government, the City of Puerto Princesa.
Fight Club Philippines as per Bias is open to families as well, they can bring in kids and even their pets is very much welcome, on their soft opening status they are offering 30% discount to all, their overnight stay usually comes with free transports and breakfast meal.
