Xena Ashbel Bunio of Palawan State University is this year’s  Miss Puerto Princesa, she compete over 28 candidates vying for the crown last March 3 at the City Coliseum, the Butuan native aims to promote ethical and sustainable fashion in the City.

First Runner Up is Wilein Grace Adion from AMA Computer Learning Center while the second runner Up is Fritzie Mendoza of Palawan National School (PNS). Among this year’s panel of judges includes Engr. Jovinee Cawaling, ABS-CBN Palawan anchor Jay Zabanal, and former Ms. Puerto Armi Policarpio.

Miss Puerto Princesa is one of the highlights of the annual 16^th Balayong Festival in line with the 148^th Founding Anniversary of the City.  National fashion designer John Cliff is this year’s official designer with Favz Gabo of FD Dream Team Production handles the direction of the pageant. Raine Judith Bayron, the City’s first daughter is this year’s overall festival chairwoman.
