The much-awaited event in the Christian community of Palawan is now on going, and the major event is about to happen this coming August 25, as the entire province of Palawan is celebrating the 400 years of Christianity.

The grand celebration opens last Aug 19 thru a blessing of St. Ezekiel Moreno street formerly called Taft St, next event is a grand procession this coming August 24 with around 6 or more religious images parading from Puerto Princesa Old Airport going to Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral, and the big day is Friday, August 25 wherein some notable guest from the Catholic church is set to grace the occasions, among them are Archbishop Charles John Brown, Papal Nuncio to the Philippines, Celebrity couple King Rodrigo and Actress Boots Anson Roa, as speakers for the Journey of Faith, a symposium in celebration of 400 years of Christianity.

Both Puerto Princesa City Government and the Provincial Government of Palawan, encourage devotees and pilgrims to attend the said events, according to the committee in charge of the preparation, they are expecting around 10,000 crowd during the two-day events, with huge audience on Aug 25, because the celebration will happen in RVM Sports Complex.
