Puerto Princesa is no longer left behind in terms of Sauna services, yes it took a while before a major business centered in sauna and spa services open, but it’s worth the wait and yes it is really good, we are talking about W Spa and Sauna located in national highway just in front of Robinsons Mall Palawan.
According to its owner, Jason Lee they open last August of 2022, he flew all the way from Korea just to invest in the City, that according to him is they ask around, what is the thing that it’s not in Puerto Princesa yet, and the resounding feedback is having a sauna and spa business, and that W started to come in, a pioneer sauna experience not only for locals but for those visiting tourists.
If your familiar with the concept of Wensha in Metro Manila, similar to its operation and style W Spa And Sauna is most likely the same, it was built in a house very privately looking perfect for the privacy sauna goers, even though they are operating now for less than a year, W Spa is a work in progress, recently they just open their Jacuzzi pool and now offering food buffet.
Mr.Lee said the W name stands for “WE”, its like you and me equals We, and that’s how they conceptualize the whole business, a first of a kind in the eco-tourism capital of the country, and the premier kind of business in Palawan.
Just like the other Sauna venues, W is just like no other mainstream Sauna in the Metropolis, the usual experience of changing your footwear, going to the locker rooms to undress and take your towel, experiencing the hotness of its sauna or having a hot or cold shower, it’s all in the same location no need to walk around further more. Another service they offer is the body scrub.
For the massage they only offer Swedish type only, they have a café type resto with massage chair in case you’re in the waiting list for the next masseur; part of the package is a free cup of coffee. And just recently they now offer Japanese food buffet as they partner with Tadzmaki, a local chain known for its sumptuous Japan vibe delicacy.
The rates for the whole Sauna experience is P700 only with massage, as per Mr.Lee the said rate is in promo, regular rate is P999. A body scrub service is additional P500.
