SM City Puerto Princesa has been awarded with a Hall of Fame special recognition for being the Top 1 Corporate Taxpayer in Puerto Princesa City for three consecutive years.
The 2023 Mayor’s Award held on March 3, 2023 at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum recognizes the contribution of SM City Puerto Princesa to the realization of local development projects and improvement of basic services.
“The special recognition is awarded to notable entities for their extraordinary contribution and bringing honor to the City Government of Puerto Princesa,” said Puerto Princesa City Mayor Lucilo Bayron.
The award was received by Maidja Saliente, mall manager, Engr. Darrell Sy, assistant mall manager, and Reina Ramirez, mall marketing manager.
“We at SM City Puerto Princesa are extremely honored and grateful to be receiving such an important recognition from the City Government of Puerto Princesa”, said Saliente. “This is indeed a great affirmation of our commitment and dedication to support the economic development of the communities we serve.”
The Mayor’s Awards is held annually to publicly acknowledge the outstanding achievements and heroism of individuals, groups, and organizations. “We also recognize the hard work and dedication of the awardees to help make Puerto Princesa City a better place to live in,” said the City Mayor.
This year also marks the 151st founding anniversary of the city and the 19th Balayong Festival.
SM City Puerto Princesa has been consistently conferred as the Top 1 Taxpayer in Puerto Princesa City in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
